Barbara Harmon
Barbara’s passion for natural science, landscape, and living things is evident in her art and illustration. A Master’s degree in Medical Illustration (University of Illinois at Chicago, 1990) and a Bachelor’s degree in both Fine Art and Zoology (University of California, Berkeley, 1986) have provided her with the basics of the academic and technical tools she applies in creating her vivid images. She is active in the local fine art community on Cape Cod where she consistently wins awards, in addition to gaining recognition in prestigious national shows such as the National Parks Academy of the Arts’ competition, Arts for the Parks top 100.
